Everything you need to know about free collection and how PSCGRecycle works.
What does PSCGRecycle do?+
We collect waste cooking oil, plastics, and tires from businesses across Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey, and refine them into biodiesel and clean products like refined oil, glycerin, soap, fertilizer, and compost.
How much does collection cost?+
Collection is free. We provide a container sized to your volume and pick it up on a schedule that works for you, at no cost.
What do you collect?+
Waste cooking oil from restaurants and commercial kitchens, commercial waste plastics, and scrap tires from tire shops and fleets.
What areas do you serve?+
We currently serve the Philadelphia tri-state area, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New Jersey, and we're growing.
How do I get started?+
Sign up online and request a free collection container. We'll deliver the right container, show your team what we accept, and schedule your first pickup.
How do pickups work?+
Once your container is ready, request a pickup through our app or by contacting us, or let an optional smart sensor schedule it automatically when the container is full. We assign the nearest driver and send you an estimated arrival time.
What size container do I need?+
It depends on how much waste you produce. When you sign up we'll help you choose the right container size for your volume.
What happens to my waste after pickup?+
Every load is weighed, logged, and sampled, then filtered and processed. We recover usable oil with an Alfa Laval centrifuge, refine it, and manufacture biodiesel and clean byproducts, recovering value most companies throw away.
Do you offer additional services?+
Yes, our drivers can note requests such as grease-trap cleaning or hood cleaning during pickup.
How long have you been in business?+
We've been recycling since 2013, founded by Joe Patton, a Penn State–trained mechanical engineer.
